June Update!

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since my last update and I just wanted to share some work I have done recently. I've got some projects in progress for The Attic Bar & Grill here in Sioux Falls that i'm just wrapping up and will be able to share soon! I also am starting to work with my first big timelapse client that begins shooting next weekend! I am so excited for this because timelapse has been one of my favorite things to do in my freetime the past couple years, so keep on the lookout for that.

As for some finished projects, I have completed a website for my cousin over at Forage Covers! It was a fun little project and, as always, I learned something new! This time it was about converting, editing, and placing .pdf's on the web. Check out the site and let me know what you think!

The next big project I completed was for my side project Welcome Home Music. I have completed a complete website re-design by designing a website using Bootstrap and then converting that over to Wordpress. This was a huge learning experience for me, but now I am excited to try out Wordpress for some future projects. Alongside the website, I also designed some fun little stickers after watching a design course from Aaron Draplin!

On to the next project is my mother's consignment store in Garretson. I have completed the re-brand, but due to the some other projects getting priority, the website is still under construction. For a while, I worked through various options using a treasure type marks for the logo, but once I started sketching out some various keys, I knew this was the route to go.

Now on to my work at Carsforsale.com. I have made a transition over to freeclassifieds.com, a subdivision of the company, where I have been making websites for all diferent types of businesses.  It's been a fantastic experience being able to think about different markets like plumbers, landscapers, salons, and so many more. Then trying to come up with an entire brand and online web precense for a small business when there isn't always much to go off of can definitely be a challenge, but I welcome it and see it as a way to grow. I have accumulated a variety of portfolio pieces and skills to apply to future projects. Some of my favorites are Bertz BarGolden Rule Pawn, and Lynx Promotional Advertising

Thanks for reading and I hope to have some more fun projects to share with you soon!
